One of the most rewarding things about being a designer is the thrill I get knowing that real families are choosing my work to be a part of their lives in some intimate, special way. Whether it's a personalized pillow to add a special touch to their family room or announcing the birth of their newborn to the world...it will NEVER get old.
To celebrate this, I have decided to start a series where I showcase families who have chosen Elm & Gray to be a part of their lives!
So...today I introduce my newest "real family"! Please meet the Belton's! (p.s. This family is extra special to me as they are not only part of the Elm & Gray family, but they are also part of my real life family. Carlisa is my husband's sister, which makes her my sister too! lucky me!)

You have always been one of my biggest cheerleaders and I appreciate that so much! Can you tell me a little about your sweet family?
I am currently a stay at home mom. My husband, Scott serves as a Major in the USAF. We have two beautiful, smart children. Samaya, our 2 year old daughter is full of life and energy and Cayden, our 9 month old is a smart and loving little boy.
I can't believe my Goddaughter is already two! Can you tell me a little about her party and how you chose her invitation?
For Samaya's second birthday party, I wanted a card that would display her total personality! I was so excited when I noticed your stripy chic invitation on tinyprints that allowed for two photos. Our daughters personality is energetic and contagious and creating a card that matched her personality was my goal!
Another reason I chose this card was that there were matching stickers available that I was able to customize. The stickers turned out AWESOME! I used the stickers to seal the gift bags. I was able to say "Thank you" and keep the photos taken that day organized by including a hashtag for her birthday party via social media #samayabday2014.
My boys used to love the classes at The Little Gym. It also seemed like the PERFECT place for Samaya to celebrate her special day!
Yes! You know her energy level is always full, 24-7! So this was the perfect environment for her to let lose and enjoy herself with her favorite little friends. The energy level of this event was great! Every toddler and parent had a blast!

Creating memories, enjoying one another, giving back to communities and happiness is so very important to our family. We are so thankful for the support of our family and friends. Being a military family, the bonds that we make with other families are very important to us. Friends are forever, and we truly appreciate all of the love that is shown to our family.
Well, judging from the expression on Samaya's face in all of these pictures, her day was definitely filled with an abundance of love and happiness! I love you guys so much. Thanks again for letting me feature your sweet little family. xo
